This is my first painting combining the elements of a regular painting in addition to a Celtic knot. The beautiful raven in the foreground is calling for his brethren who you can see in the distance as the sun is rising, bringing light to a majestic river below. The knots surrounding this painting are done in wonderful contrasting shades of burgundy, silver & black also contain individual raven feathers and it's all surrounded with a golden border. The darker knot colors are a great contrast to the soft oranges, yellows & blues that the sunrise is creating.
