Christmas is a holiday with roots in many different pagan religious festivals. I wanted to paint a Celtic knot that blends many of the main elements together such as holly berries, wreaths, vines & of course reindeer which I have done with this painting. "Celtic Christmas" has a beautiful wreath in the center filled with Celtic spirals complete with holly berries & red knotted ribbons. In each corner I've painted a reindeer knot in Christmas gold,silver & reds with holly berries & vines throughout the body. On the outside of the painting I've painted beautiful vines in two shades of green with beautiful berries & holly leaves all around to give it a real holiday feeling.
